For 72 hours before the treatment avoid alcohol , vitamins A & E, gingko biloba, garlic & fish oils, St Johns Wart supplements and medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin as these can increase the risk of bruising.
If you are prescribed aspirin or blood thinners for a medical condition you must not stop taking these. If you would like to try to reduce bruising you can start arnica tablets 2 days before your treatment and make sure you have some arnica cream to use as well.
