There is minimal downtime, however there is a risk of bruising or swelling that comes with all injectable treatments. Some patients may experience mild swelling or redness for a few days after treatment but this shouldn’t impact your daily activities.
After treatment it is best to avoid excessively touching your nose especially where you have been injected. You may also want to refrain from wearing glasses if you can, as this could irritate the injected areas. As with all dermal filler treatment you should avoid heat (such as saunas or steam rooms), and strenuous exercise for between 24 – 48 hours post-treatment.
Patients may like to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment, as alcohol can increase the risks of bruising.
